old beach cities restaurants
Here are a couple of others that just came to mind: Bobby McGee's, Carmello's, Don the Beachcomber's Newport Beach, Pieces of Eight (not in a beach location), Charlie Brown's Newport Beach, Jamaica Inn Newport Beach, Castaways Newport Beach, Feliciano's Newport Beach ....???

Only one I know of, Bobby McGee's, went out of business year's ago. I think it's an Italian restaurant now but not sure. I only pass it rarely and never stopped.
ReplyDeleteOnly ever ate there one time. Our waiter was dressed as a Boy Scout and had a dried out frog hanging around his neck.
I miss Tale Of The Whale. Oh I know it's Harborside now and the food's good and all, but it seems too fancy anymore. Much fancier and less kid friendly as TOTW seemed to me. Plus they got rid of the bait tanks so you can't sit by the window and watch seagulls, seals, and sealions sitting around waiting for someone to open the bait tank and try to steal some fish.
